Videosys Broadcast Ltd was established in 2008 by Colin Tomlin to be the broadcast distributor for Domo Ltd, latterly Cobham and provide engineering services to the broadcast industry. With 20 years experience in the broadcast arena working with cameras, VTR, editing, fly-a-way production, Colin has a wealth of background knowledge, but specialising in bespoke solutions and Radio Links. Since the start, Videosys has expanded quickly providing links and engineering back up on shows such as Sky football, Hells Kitchen, Ryder Cup - Sky 3D and Wimbledon 2011 - Sony 3D.

Videosys can now provide full wireless camera control and fibre antenna extension solutions to augment the range of products available from Cobham. Colin Tomlin says " I am very excited about this partnership. The synergy of the Cobham product, GTZLINK and Videosys will allow us to push further into the broadcast market and provide the service and back-up expected from the market."

The Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Rugby World Cup since ’91, FIFA World Cup and the Asian Games in Doha   More recently Colin has been involved in the design of bespoke camera interfacing solutions for HD camera systems such as LDK6/8000 and HDC1500 used on Premier League Football, BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and Beijing Olympic Games.   Working closely with Arri Media, Domo microwave links have been supplied for use as radio Video Assist on movies such as Flight 93, Fred Clause, The Bourne Ultimatum and James Bond - Quantum of Solace. The system allows the director to view the video tap with little or no picture break-up.   We can provide mounting brackets and cables for most leading camera configurations, both film and video.
